Privacy Policy
This policy explains what RenzaGroup collects when you use RydGenie, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Last updated September 4, 2026
1. Who we are
RydGenie is a transportation management platform operated by RenzaGroup. We provide software that limousine and private-car operators use to quote, book, dispatch and bill trips, and we provide the passenger-facing booking portal those operators offer their customers.
Where an operator uses RydGenie to serve its own passengers and drivers, that operator decides what data is collected and why; we process it on their behalf, on the terms in sections 10 and 11 of the Terms.
Where you deal with us directly — visiting this website, enquiring about a subscription, or subscribing as an operator — we decide those things, and this policy is what governs them.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account information — name, email address, mobile number, role, and the operator you belong to.
- Operator business information — for the transportation companies who subscribe: company name and address, the names and contact details of the staff who administer the account, and subscription, invoice and payment records.
- Enquiry information — what you send us through the enquiry form: company name, contact name, work email, phone, fleet size, monthly ride volume and any notes.
- Trip information — pickup and drop-off addresses, stops, dates and times, flight numbers, passenger counts, vehicle preferences and any notes you add to a reservation.
- Payment information — billing name, address and the last four digits and brand of your card. Full card numbers are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. They never reach our servers.
- Driver information — for drivers only: driver’s licence number, class, issuing state and expiration, home address and employment notes.
- Location information — for drivers only, and only while a driver is clocked in to a shift. See section 5.
- Communications — messages you send us, and records of the SMS and email notifications we send you.
- Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, collected through server logs.
3. How we use information
- To quote, book, dispatch, complete and bill trips.
- To send you the service messages described in section 4 — booking confirmations, driver status, and receipts.
- To authenticate you and keep accounts secure.
- To provide customer support.
- To bill, renew and support an operator's subscription, and to answer an enquiry about one.
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To improve the service, using aggregated data that does not identify you.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
4. Mobile and SMS information
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you receive text messages about your trips — confirmations, driver status, changes and receipts. Opting in is never a condition of booking, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the messaging aggregators and communication providers strictly required to deliver the messages you asked for. Information may be shared with subcontractors that provide support services, such as customer service, but never for their own marketing.
The sender is the transportation operator you booked with, whose program is named after them — for example Acme Limousine Ride Alerts. RenzaGroup provides the messaging platform and processes your number on their behalf; it never texts passengers under its own name. Message frequency varies by trip activity — typically 2 to 6 messages per reservation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Full details are in the SMS Terms.
5. Driver location data
Drivers using the RydGenie mobile application share their location so dispatchers can see where vehicles are and give passengers accurate arrival times.
Location is collected only while a driver is clocked in to a shift. Clocking out stops collection. The application does not track drivers off shift, and it does not collect location from passengers.
Live position is visible to the driver’s own operator — dispatchers, operators and the platform administrator. A reduced trail is retained so a completed trip can be reconstructed for a billing or safety dispute, then deleted on the schedule in section 8.
7. Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. When you enter card details they are transmitted directly to Stripe and are not stored on our systems; we retain only the brand and last four digits so you can recognise the card. Stripe’s handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
8. How long we keep information
- Reservation, quote and invoice records: seven years, for tax and insurance purposes.
- Driver location trails: 90 days, then permanently deleted.
- Account records: for as long as the account is active, then 30 days after closure.
- SMS opt-in and opt-out records: retained for as long as required to prove consent, as messaging regulations require.
9. Your rights and choices
- Access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP, or email consent by using the unsubscribe link.
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these, email support@renzagroup.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If your trip was arranged through a transportation operator, that operator may also hold your information; we will pass your request to them where appropriate.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited by role, so a driver sees only their own assigned trips and an operator sees only their own company’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
11. Children
RydGenie is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A minor may of course travel as a passenger on a booking made by an adult.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will give you notice before it takes effect.
